Movie Title: Rajapattai
Producer: Prathish and Santhosh
Director: Susindhran
Cast: Vikram, Deeksha Seth and Pradeep Rawat
Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja
Prathish and Santhosh’s produced Rajapattai is the directed venture of Susindhran and stars Vikram, Deekshah Seth and Mithra Kurian in the lead roles. The Tamil audience was waiting the release of the flick that now hits cinema screens.

The film is based around action and drama. The main hero of the movie is Vikram, who is all the rage among the Tamil viewers and they simply love him. He is famous for his action roles. The movies like Saamy, Dhil and Dhool are his best remembered movies.

The film is brilliant as far as direction of the movie is concerned. Susindhran is the brilliant story-teller of the Tamil cinema. His works are admired and liked. The script is worthy and holds values. The story is a class in itself. The movie has potential to hit the hearts and it really puts the viewers on the edge of the seat.

Rajapattai talks about the saga of the gym instructor and the stuntman who likes to make his mark on the celluloid being a villain in movies but little does he know that the fate has something else in store for him. Anal Murugan (Vikram) fastens the belts to fight against the evil biggies of the place who keep on grabbing the lands of the innocent people. The biggest baddie is Pradeep Rawat. He is madly in love with a girl (Deekhsa Seth) who is an IT student. What happens next forms the story – Anal’s brawls with the baddies.

The story is worthwhile, though is not novel, but has interests for the Tamil audience. The script is well penned and delivers the goods aptly. The execution on the screen is what should be praised big since the story teller is master in the art. Music is spongy and is hummable. The listeners would be humming the numbers around from now onwards. The cinematography is a work of art. Editing looks good. Action sequences have been done with dexterity.

Vikram shows his class once again in this power packed role. He shows off his dexterous acting on the screen by letting the masses know that he is here to prove his mettle. Deeksha Seth looks stunning and gorgeous but acts luminously as well. Pradeep Rawat, who has impressed the audiences with his super negative role in A R Murugadoss’ Ghajini (Aamir Khan and Asin starrer), loots the hearts with his classy baddie performance in this outing. Rest of the cast is impressive too.

Rajapattai holds values in terms of direction, script and music. Do watch it.
